Torma-making is one of my favorite practices—a tactile, visual way of balancing perfection and process, which I think we could all use a little more of! And it results in personally handcrafted, sacred offerings—for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, for the benefit of all beings, and for the dinner of the squirrels, raccoons, and other hungry locals.
No prior torma-making experience is needed. We'll start right at the ground floor and leave plenty of time for interaction, feedback, and a few stories about Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, three-year retreat, and more.
It's another wonderful opportunity to deepen your connection to this meaningful tradition while supporting Mindfulness For Life’s mission of bringing free, trauma-informed mindfulness training to underserved communities.
