Lovingkindness Meditation and the Path of Peace

This event is presented for the Denison community at the Spritual Life Center at Gilpatrick

Everyone wants to be happy; no one wants to suffer. Yet we often forget this aspect of our equality and, therefore, lose the steady path of inner peace and happiness. Fixation on our relative view of good or bad, right or wrong (also known as "anger") inevitably causes us more suffering than even those we are angry with. Buddhism is rich with methods to cultivate the loving heart of strength and gentility, and we'll discuss some of these techniques and their bases.
